June Meeting
It’s
time for our Annual Picnic which is held at the Westville Recreation Area
in Sturbridge. The picnic starts at 1:00 p.m. but the pavilion is
reserved earlier than that and you can feel free to arrive early and
enjoy the recreation area. Please bring the dish you signed up for
along with a serving utensil. You should also bring a lawn chair or
blanket. The picnic tables are under cover in the pavilion in case
of inclement weather. There will be hamburgers and hotdogs provided

The newly elected officers will be sworn in to take
over their new duties. Be sure to congratulate Susan Therriault,
President, Karen Murphy, Vice President, Terri Donnelly, Secretary, and
Margrit Barry who continues her second term as Treasurer. Best
wishes to all of the Officers for the coming year!
Secret Quilter
The Secret Quilters will be revealed at the
June picnic! Have you figured out who your Secret Quilter is?
If not, the suspense will be over at the picnic!
Quilt Show Update
Many thanks go to the Quilt Show Committee for all
its efforts over the past year to put together plans for our Quilt Show
planned for this July. Unfortunately, the Committee currently
has no leader or secretary. If you want to help out the Guild by
become the Quilt Committee Chairperson, please see Sue Therriault at the
June meeting or call her at 508 869 6572. Perhaps you have another
member that would be interested in being Co-Chairperson with you; after
all, two heads are better than one! Please consider being the
Quilt Show Chairperson(s)! Our
Guild NEEDS YOU!
Outreach News
Outreach will meet the second and fourth Fridays of
June and then will be on break for the summer months of July and August
and will resume in September. The meetings take place at the Grange from
12:30 to 3:00 p.m. If you have any questions, call Marge
Moniz at 508 347 5811.
Outreach has presented us with a new project:
Make a
cheerful pillowcase for a child who is sick with cancer or another
serious illness. If you have already made your pillowcase(s)
you can deliver them to Marge at the June picnic. If not, please
mail them in a manila envelope to
